MockMo produces creative music-making plugins, and hosts unique contests for sparking fresh inspiration and creativity. As musicians ourselves, we know that sometimes having fresh and unique sounds can bring forth a creativity that we didn't know we had!
Whether it's the simple texture of a pad-soundscape, or even a weird and quirky sounds... Being pushed to use create within certain constrains brings a powerful problem-solving mindset that births new creative tools in the musicians' arsenal.
And that's the goal of our plugins and contests – to help force fresh inspiration to sprout in music-making, so that creativity can have a unique impact on the rest of your music-making. Such creativity is rarely premeditated or foreseen – that's why it's so exciting!
You can download our plugins as a "VST" file to use inside any DAW (i.e. GarageBand, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.). And if you enter a contest, then the plugins are free!
Contests are simple and there's one main rule: You must use one of our selected plugins to make a song that pushes your creativity in the process.
Anyone who enters "wins" access to the plugin from the beginning, and all the personal benefits that come with the process. We publish some of the most inspiring Staff Picks, to showcase the wide creativity of our contestants.

If you typically produce clean and tracked records, you can have fun incorporating some of our more "messy" sounds to add a stand-out texture or element to your music.
And if you normally record more raw and "laid-back" tracks, you'll find sounds that can bring a fuller beef to the emotion of your songs.
And for the voice-memos-only musician, the challenge to use our plugins may just be the push you need to venture into the world of DAW music production.
Even if you've never made music before, we'd love for you to enter (we'll even give you some tips on getting started making your first song). This could be the catalyst for you jumping right in!

Browse our plugins download page to purchase any plugins that interest you
Sign up for a contest to get immediate access to the plugins and additional resources
Each contest comes with a Commitment Statement, where you agree to submit a song by due date (in any form). This informal agreement is not just a way to get free access to the plugin, but it's even more importantly a way to keep you accountable to "just do it" and overcome that oh-so-common creator's block that keeps us from ever sharing many of our songs.
