X-Linear is a sandbox to find some hidden audio gems. Where streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music host and promote the most produced and popular audios, X-Linear is different...

Here, there's a focus on the hidden (and sometimes subtle) excellence of the heart. It doesn't need to be professionally produced. They definitely don't need to be well-known – in fact almost all audio gems here haven't been discovered by almost anyone!

What you'll find here are podcasts, songs, demos, spoken-word, and more! They're placed here for you to dig around, mine, and discover (as if digging through an old vinyl collection in a forgotten attic). As you listen, open yourself up to find something that speaks to you and your place in life right now. We know, from personal experience, that there's hidden value in these audios – you'll find it if you open yourself to receive something new, subtle, and unexpected.

We also want others to see just how much gold can be found in un-produced, mid-progress, or even completely unfinished audio works! Never despise small beginnings, for purity and power can shine brightest a dark sandbox, without the smoke-and-lights of perfection and performance.

This streaming platform is literally for anyone who loves taking in beauty and wisdom through listening. It's uniquely interesting for:

• Students – Listen to these audio gems during some of your study times, replacing your typical instrumental/music playlists with something more adventurous (see for yourself what the result is).

• Commuters – On your way to and from work, try opening up X-Linear and discover something that will boost your spirits and strengthen you for the workday/time at home.

• Musicians – Inspiration can come from anywhere. But we almost challenge any musician to find unique inspiration from these audios (especially the raw, un-cut, or work-in-progress music on X-Linear).

Ultimately, no matter who you are, we want you to dive in and see what stands out to you!

Getting Started

Anyone can browse and listen to the audios right away, without createing an account!

However, if you do choose to create an account, you'll be able to:

• Save and "like" songs

• Create your own playlists

• Suggest new audios

Also, on a mobile device, anyone can "Add to Homescreen" to have an app-like experience on their phone. On desktop (Chrome), you can save it as a shortcut so it pulls up like a desktop app for quick access. We actually recommend this if you want to keep revisiting X-Linear and having these audios always "on tap".

Sometimes there may be changes in the backend that affect the hosting. Also, while we have nuanced criteria for choosing these audios, we are open to feedback and requests.
